Second Chance Pet Rescue was founded in 2002
by Courtney Voth. We realized that even though there are
many rescue groups and shelters just in Winnipeg alone
unfortunately it is still not enough. People caused the
suffering and now it is time for people to be part of the
solution.
Second Chance Pet Rescue is committed to saving abused and homeless/abandoned animals and rehabilitating them for proper adoption. Animal shelters across Canada and the USA euthanize millions of unwanted dogs & cats each month, and SCPR rescues as many slated for Death Row as possible in order to offer them a "second chance" at life and happiness. We do not have a shelter, we run a small rescue group through foster homes.
Second Chance Rescue depends entirely on individual donations and dedicated volunteers. Besides adopting, there are many ways to help the animals: being a foster parent, volunteering your time, or with financial support. The Animals desperately need you, and we sincerely thank you for your interest in saving an animals' life.
Volunteers and donations are the binding glue that
hold together groups such as the Second Chance Pet
Rescue.
