Manitoba Underdogs Rescue Winnipeg, ManitobaWinnipeg, MB R2M 2K2 Second Chance Pet Rescue of Winnipeg, Manitoba are a small group located in the Winnipeg area of Canada that is dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs from neglected, helpless situations. We have rescued a few felines, bunnies and reptiles as well. We rarely take in owner surrenders and have rescued most of our animals from kill shelters just before their time was up. Since we do not have a public facility, "foster parents" bring these animals into their homes where they are lovingly cared for, rehabilitated, socialized and carefully placed with compatible people who are willing to be their lifelong friend. Second Chance Pet Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer group and all of our expenses for the basic care, medical attention, food, etc. for our rescues are paid for directly by the members of Second Chance and those of you who generously donate to help these precious animals.
